West Ham Likely Line Up (4-3-3)

Form Guide: Arsenal (4th) W5 D1 L2 West Ham United (8th): W4 D0 L4
Tactical View: West Ham are likely to play an attacking 4-3-3 formation as they played against Hull City, Carlton Cole spearheading the attack with Bellamy and Etherington on the wings. The central midfielders are a hard working bunch and will be looking to close down Fabregas and Denilson as quick as possible. With Bellamy and Etherington on the flanks the potential to counter, and counter at speed is great.
For Arsenal they will look to pressure more greatly than at Fenerbahce where more goals could have been conceded. Faubert and Ilunga are attacking full backs, and especially Walcott will be looking to take advantage. The question is if Arsenal are allowed to play their passing and movement football by the Hammers, if they do expect goals to flow just as in Turkey.
Key Battles: Craig Bellamy v Emmanuel Eboue: Craig Bellamy will look to interchange positions with Etherington but his best joy may come from the left attacking Eboue. His pace is his obvious strength as is his threat from scoring.
Lee Bowyer v Denilson: Denilson will have to be on top of his defensive game against three central midfielders. Lee Bowyer late running in to the box could be a danger which the Brazilian may have to watch closely.
Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Arsenal
