Manuel Almunia (7): A commanding game. Great at rushing out to deny Liverpool on the long ball, good kicking and made a fine save from Kuyt.
Bakary Sagna (7): Supported the attack well on the right hand side and had the measure of Riera and Insua for the most part.
Johan Djourou (6): Troubled by the long ball behind but anything in front he dealt with well.
William Gallas (6): Was the better of the two defenders reading the game well but the long ball was still a problem.
Gael Clichy (6): Started the game well with some good blocks though high balls towards his side became an occurrence.
Denilson (7): Nice touches early on the right flank and was composed in the centre in the second.
Cesc Fabregas (6): Was dictating the play for Arsenal early in the first half especially but faded as Liverpool got themselves back in. Injured and Subbed >46 Diaby
Alex Song (7): Shielded the defence well in the first half while in an advancing role in the second looked composed but lacking in dynamism.
Samir Nasri (7): Set up the first goal with a delightful long pass and looked dangerous when he attacked. Subbed > 90+1 Eboue.
Emmanuel Adebayor (5): Started the game well but his sending off changed the game for Arsenal. Maybe was a bit harsh but those are the rules.
Robin Van Persie (8)*: Commited and determined capped off by a great goal. Lacked real support as a result of the red card.
Abou Diaby (7): Looked to support the attack and tackled strongly.
Emmanuel Eboue (5): Not much time to make an impact.
